Abstract
Methods of implementing a new type of wave-driven propulsion adapted for use on floating vessels to provide or supplement self-propulsion are disclosed. An approximately vertical, semi-cylindrical propulsion deck attached to a vessel interacts with wave motion on and below the vessel to impart thrust to the vessel.
