Abstract
Flame-resistant fabrics are made from blends of fibers that provide the necessary thermal and flame protection while offering greater durability. In some forms, this is achieved by using fiber blends that include relatively high percentages of FR nylon fibers combined with cellulosic fibers that are inherently flame-resistant.
