Abstract

An electrically conductive connector assembly (200) for connecting a freely steered mobile machine (140) to a stationary power source while moving includes an electrically conductive boom assembly (210) comprising a proximal end and a distal end, the proximal end of the boom assembly (210) being movably connected to a body of the mobile machine (MAM); an electrically conductive arm assembly (220) comprising a proximal end and a distal end, the proximal end of the arm assembly (220) being connected to the distal end of the boom assembly (210); and an electrically conductive contactor assembly (280) being connected to the distal end of the arm assembly (220). The arm assembly (220) includes at least three longitudinally extendable arms arranged parallel to each other.
