Abstract
The present invention relates to an aquaculture feed composition for carnivorous fish with an improved sustainability profile in which the forage fish dependency ratio (FFDR) is reduced by the use of a single-cell protein (SCP) as a partial or complete replacement for fishmeal, optionally used in combination with a non-marine or vegetable oil, and to the use of a single-cell protein (SCP) composition in an aquaculture feed composition for carnivorous fish to partially or completely replace the fishmeal component.
