Abstract

Portable system for acquiring standardized spectral information of trauma indicators or metabolic waste (1), intended for the non-invasive detection in real time and in a productive environment, of the stress and welfare condition of sedated fish by obtaining and analyzing multi-band spectral information of the skin surface under standardized optical and physiological stability conditions.These are spectral signals associated with damage or trauma inherent to the fish production process or the presence of compounds or metabolic residues in the skin-mucus structure of the fish, recorded by a system comprising at least one standardized spectral acquisition component (2) configured to record multi-band spectral information from the surface of the fish skin; at least one standardized image acquisition and lighting support dome (4), which fits snugly into an insulated specimen box (5), which together form a dark environment where at least one double set of polarized and active lighting (13), an adjustable and retractable specimen tray (8), a hinged service plate (6), and on the outer surface a digital control, analysis and reporting processor (3) operate.
