Abstract
A lithium desorption unit includes a positive electrode, a negative electrode, an adsorption layer disposed between the positive and negative electrodes and receiving an adsorbent that adsorbs lithium ions, a substance layer disposed between the adsorption layer and the negative electrode and receiving a substance to be electrolyzed, a bonding layer disposed between the adsorption layer and the substance layer, a first permeable membrane disposed between the adsorption layer and the bonding layer to allow lithium ions separated from the adsorbent to pass into the adsorption layer, and a second permeable membrane disposed between the substance layer and the bonding layer to allow negatively ionized ions to pass from the substance layer into the substance layer and not to allow positive ions to pass.The bonding layer receives the lithium ions that have passed through the first permeable membrane and the negative ions that have passed through the second permeable membrane to produce a lithium compound in which the lithium ions and negative ions bond together.
