Use of n-carbamoylaspartic acid compounds to prepare drugs to treat coccidiosis in animals

Abstract

This document discloses the use of an N-carbamoylaspartic acid compound of Formula (I) or a pharmaceutically acceptable racemate, stereoisomer, geometric isomer, tautomer, solvate, or salt thereof, or a pharmaceutical composition comprising it, in the preparation of a medicament for preventing and / or treating coccidiosis in animals, wherein each of X and Y is independently H or a linear or branched C1-C18 alkyl group. The N-carbamoylaspartic acid compound, or a pharmaceutically acceptable racemate, stereoisomer, geometric isomer, tautomer, solvate, or salt thereof, as described herein, or a pharmaceutical composition comprising it, is remarkably effective against coccidiosis and has shown a clear dose response.
