Abstract

The present invention relates to a nutritious hazelnut kernel powder as a kind of solid beverage and its method of preparation. The said powder is obtained by spray drying the hazelnut kernel slurry and ginseng juice as the main materials. The materials also involve xylitol or sugar, dextrin, citric acid, the powder of medlar(Lycium L.), xanthan gum and functional nutrients. The hazelnut kernel slurry is preferably made by the following steps: removing the inner coat of hazelnut kernel after immersing the kernel in water at stirring, adding water to the amount of 2-12 times, grinding and mesh screening. The ginseng juice is preferred to be made by the following method: stirring and mixing the materials, smashing by colloid mill, mesh screening, vacuum concentrating at 50-55 °C till the amount of the solid arrives 50-60%, spray drying on the condition of temperature 140-170°C at inlet, then, mesh screening after cooling. Thus, the said method can keep the nutrients of the materials well. The said product possesses good taste, good health-care effect, as a combination of food and medicinal uses. Also, the product is easy to manufacture, convey and store, particularly, it is convinient to eat, and may be more satisfied to the need of the modern people's life.
