Abstract

Taking advantage of the positive deviation of the methanol-acetonitrile system to Raoult's law, reducing or increasing the pressure can break the binary azeotropic point formed by methanol-acetonitrile under normal pressure, thereby changing the composition of the azeotrope and achieving the purpose of separation. The number of theoretical plates in the vacuum rectification tower is at least 40, and the pressure at the top of the tower is 0.3-0.5 atm. The number of theoretical plates in the pressurized rectification tower is at least 25, and the pressure at the top of the tower is 5-10 atm. The invention can separate and obtain methanol products and acetonitrile products with a purity greater than 99.5% (wt). The method has short technological process, less equipment investment, convenient operation and easy control, and is suitable for methanol-acetonitrile solutions mixed in any ratio, especially for mixed solutions with azeotropic composition (methanol mass concentration 79%-80%).
