Abstract

The invention discloses a fiber glass reinforcement PBT / ABS composite material with good surface and high flow and a preparation method thereof. The composite material comprises the following components by weight percentage: 10 to 65 percent of PBT resin, 10 to 65 percent of ABS resin, 1 to 10 percent of compatilizer, 10 to 40 percent of fiber glass, 1 to 5 percent of lubricant, and 0.5 to 4 percent of other assistants. The method comprises the following steps: weighing each material except the fiber glass, mixing the materials in a mixer for 3 to 5 minutes, adding the evenly mixed materials into a double-screw extruder, adding the fiber glass into the mixture from a first exhaust port, wherein the temperatures from a feed port to an extruding die head are between 160 and 180 DEG C, between 190 and 220 DEG C, between 210 and 240 DEG C, between 220 and 250 DEG C and between 210 and 240 DEG C respectively, and the rotating speed of a host is 20 to 50 hertz, and then using a plastic injection molding machine to prepare samples. The composite material has the advantages of good surface gloss, good performance and easy processing.
