Abstract

The invention relates to an anti-rust coating composition which is characterized by comprising the following components in percentage by weight: 60-70 percent of film-forming resin, 0.5-1 percent of shrinkage-proof agent, 0.2-2 percent of photo-thermal stabilizing agent and 30-40 percent of solvent, wherein the film-forming resin consists of thermoplastic acrylic resin and alkyd resin; the thermoplastic acrylic resin is selected from one of a copolymer of methyl methacrylate and butyl acrylate, a copolymer of the methyl methacrylate and butyl methacrylate and a copolymer of acrylic ester and styrene; the alkyd resin is selected from one of linseed oil alkyd resin, dewatered castor oil alkyd resin and acrylic modified alkyd resin; the shrinkage-proof agent is organic fluorine modified polyacrylic ester; the photo-thermal stabilizing agent is one of 2-hydroxy-4-n-octyloxy benzophenone which is an ultraviolet ray absorbent and bi-(2,2,6,6-tetramethyl piperidyl) sebacic acid ester which is a hindered amines light stabilizing agent; and the solvent is an environment friendly mixed dimethyl ester solvent.
