Abstract

The invention aims at disclosing a handwriting screen for transmitting display signals by a universal serial bus (USB). The handwriting screen can reduce the number of external lines, reduce the costof products and improve the usability and the portability of the products. The technical scheme is as follows: the handwriting screen 10 is connected with a mainframe 9 through the USB 2.0, a drivingprogram of the handwriting screen 10 is installed in the mainframe 9, the driving program uses a graphic card of the mainframe 9 for reading display data, the display data can meet the requirements ontransmission rate of the USB 2.0 after treatment and compression and is then transmitted to the handwriting screen 10 through the USB, the handwriting screen 10 carries out decompression and reduction after receiving the display data, and then the corresponding display signals are generated according to the types of interfaces of a display screen connected with the handwriting screen 10, such as,RGB signals of TTL level or LVDS signals, and the signals are provided to the display screen. Therefore, the handwriting screen uses the USB for replacing a VGA or DVI transmission line adopted in the prior art. In addition, a rechargeable battery is contained in the handwriting screen 10, so as to assist a USB power supply for supplying power to the handwriting screen.
