Abstract

The present invention discloses a flash memory storing system and a controller thereof, and a data alteration resistant method. The flash memory storing system comprises a controller arranged with a nonvolatile memory and a flash memory chip, wherein the data marks are stored in the nonvolatile memory, and safe information and massage abstracts are stored in the flash memory chip. When safe data in the flash memory chip is updated by the controller, the controller can generate character value and data updating marks, and one-way hash function is used to update the massage abstracts according to the updated data marks and character value. However, when the safe data in the flash memory chip is processed by the controller, the controller can be used to judge weather read safe data is altered according to the stored data marks, character value and massage abstracts. By this, the safe data of the flash memory chip can be effectively protected.
