Abstract

The invention relates to an automatic alignment system and a control method thereof. The automatic alignment system comprises transmission mechanism, a tonometer and a deflection correction device, wherein the transmission mechanism is used for transmitting a thin film along a transmission direction; the tonometer is used for measuring a tension value borne by the thin film; and the deflection correction device comprises a deflection correction sensor and a deflection correction roller. When the deflection correction sensor detects that the travelling direction of the thin film deflects from the transmission direction by a deflection angle, a regulating signal is outputted; the deflection correction roller moves towards a regulating direction according to the regulating signal for regulating the travelling direction of the thin film to the direction basically parallel to the transmission direction; and the deflection correction roller is used for determining moving speed towards the regulating direction according to the tension value.
