The invention relates to a notebook computer which comprises a first connector, a second connector and an electromagnet control unit. The second connector comprises a base, a sliding part, a first magnetic component and a second magnetic component; the sliding part comprises a conductive terminal; the first magnetic component is arranged on the base; and the second magnetic component is arranged on the sliding part. The sliding part slides between a first position relative to the base on which the conductive terminal is divorced from the first connector base and a second position on which the conductive terminal is in contact with the first connector. When a power-on signal is detected, the electromagnet control unit controls the first magnetic component to be electrified to generate a magnetic field, the sliding part slides to a second position under the magnetic action of the second magnetic component and the first magnetic component so that an electrical connection is established between the conductive terminal and the first connector. When a shut-down signal is detected, the electromagnet control unit controls the first magnetic component to be electrified, and the sliding part slides back to a first position under the magnetic action of the second magnetic component and the first magnetic component.
