Problems solved by technology

[0006] However, the adhesive layer containing a styrene-based thermoplastic elastomer has a problem of insufficient anchoring force with respect to conventional support substrates.
Since this anchoring force is insufficient, as a result, it is impossible to suppress pasty residue that occurs when peeling off after attaching to the attached body

[0134] (Material for forming mechanical property control layer): Block polypropylene (manufactured by Sumitomo Chemical Co., Ltd., Noblen KS23f8) was prepared.

[0135] (Surface layer (I) in contact with the adhesive layer): Atactic polypropylene (manufactured by Japan Polypropylene Corporation, NOVATEC PP EG8) was prepared.

[0136] The support base material (1) was obtained by molding the material for forming the support base material by T-die melt coextrusion. The thickness of the surface layer (II) not in contact with the adhesive layer was ...

Embodiment 2

[0141] As a material for forming the surface layer (I) in contact with the adhesive layer, random polypropylene (manufactured by SunAllomer Ltd., PF433M) was used instead of random polypropylene (manufactured by Japan Polypropylene Corporation, NOVATEC PP EG8), and in addition , in the same manner as in Example 1 to obtain a surface protection sheet (2).

Abstract

Provided is a novel surface protective sheet including a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer on a supporting base material, in which the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer has a high anchoring force for the supporting base material, and no adhesive residue occurs upon peeling of the surface protective sheet after its attachment to an adherend. The surface protective sheet of the present invention is a surface protective sheet including: a supporting base material; a surface layer (I) as one outermost layer of the supporting base material; and a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer on the surface layer (I), in which: the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer contains a thermoplastic elastomer; and the surface layer (I) contains a random polypropylene at a content of more than 50 wt %.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to a surface protection sheet. Background technique [0002] The surface protection sheet can be used for sticking to an attached body such as a metal plate, a resin plate, a glass plate, etc. to exert a protective effect. [0003] As the characteristics required for the surface protection sheet, there are listed no damage to the attached body during processing and transportation after it is attached to the attached body, no floating and no peeling when attached to the attached body, and adhesion. The agent layer has a high anchoring force to the supporting base material, and does not leave pasty residue when peeled off after being attached to the adherend. [0004] As an adhesive that can be used for the adhesive layer of the surface protection sheet, a natural rubber-based adhesive in which a tackifier or the like has been blended with natural rubber or modified natural rubber has conventionally been generally used.
