Embodiment Construction

[0028] Embodiments will now be described in detail, examples of which are illustrated in the accompanying drawings, wherein like reference numerals refer to like parts throughout. The embodiments are described below in order to explain the present disclosure by referring to the figures.

[0029] figure 1 is a diagram illustrating an object sensing device 300 using multi-touch and approaching an object according to an embodiment.

[0030] refer to figure 1 , the object sensing device 300 using multi-touch or approaching an object may include, for example, a touch light source 310 , a hovering light source 320 , a light guide 330 and a display panel 340 .

[0031] The touch light source 310 may include an invisible light source for touch sensing, and may be disposed at one end of the light guide 330 .

[0032] The touch light source 310 may irradiate invisible light for sensing a touch image generated by the touch object 100 . For example, invisible light for sensing a touch...

Abstract

Provided is a touch object and proximate object sensing apparatus by selectively radiating a light. An object sensing apparatus may separately use a touch light source to sense a touch image generated by an object touching a light guide, and a hovering light source to sense a target image generated by an object proximate to the light guide. The light guide may emit, to an upper portion of the light guide, an invisible light radiated from the hovering light source to enhance a sensation of sensing the proximate object.

Description

[0001] This application claims the benefit of Korean Patent Application No. 10-2010-0022321 filed with the Korean Intellectual Property Office on March 12, 2010, the disclosure of which is incorporated herein by reference. technical field [0002] One or more embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a touching object and proximity object sensing apparatus that can sense a touch image generated by an object touching a display or an object image generated by a proximity object approaching the display. Background technique [0003] With the recent development of display technology, interest in techniques for recognizing the position of an object touching the display is increasing. In particular, as the size of the display becomes larger, contents displayed on the display may be frequently dragged. [0004] There may be constraints on the sensing of dragged content as it is limited to sensing only the touch location on the display panel. [0005] Therefore, a sensing tec...
