The working method of the multimode device comprises: determining an operating frequency band at a current location of a first communication mode and a current operating channel of a second communication mode; evaluating a mutual interference between each channel in the operating frequency band at the current location of the first communication mode and the current operating channel of the second communication mode; selecting, on the basis of the evaluation result, an operating channel to be used by the first communication mode in the operating frequency band at the current location; and using the operating channel selected for the first communication mode to perform communication of the first communication mode.
