Abstract

The invention discloses a method for removing 17alpha-ethinylestradiol in water, relating to a water treatment method. A removing device is provided with a reaction vessel, a sample injection pipe, a sampling pipe, an air intake pipe, an ultraviolet lamp, a casing, a draining pipe and a circulating pump, wherein one ends of the sample injection pipe, the sampling pipe and the air intake pipe are respectively inserted into the reaction vessel; the ultraviolet lamp is arranged in the reaction vessel; the casing is sleeved outside the ultraviolet lamp; a water feeding port of the draining pipe is connected with an outlet of the reaction vessel; an inlet of the circulating pump is connected with the outlet of the reaction vessel; an outlet of the circulating pump is connected back to the inside of the reaction vessel; and the draining pipe is arranged at the bottom of the reaction vessel. Hydrogen peroxide is added in a water sample containing EE2 through the sampling pipe; the circulating pump is started to enable the water sample containing the EE2 to be mixed with the hydrogen peroxide to obtain a mixed solution; and a power supply of the ultraviolet lamp is turned on for continuous circulation so as to remove the 17alpha-ethinylestradiol in the water. The method can be widely used for deeply processing drinking water and can be also applied to removing trace organic containments which are toxic and difficult to degrade in the water.
