Abstract

The invention provides a method for controlling rolling temperature of strip materials. The method comprises the steps of: detecting the temperature T1 of the head part of a strip material by a temperature sensor when the head part of the strip material passes through the temperature sensor, wherein the temperature sensor, water-spraying temperature-regulating header pipes and rolling mills are arranged along the direction of conveying strip materials; detecting the temperature T2 of the next part of the strip material by the temperature sensor when the next part of the strip material passes through the temperature sensor; calculating a difference Delta T between the T2 and the T1; and calculating the quantity of sprayed water flow through the water-spraying temperature-regulating header pipes according to the Delta T, a radiation temperature drop of the next part of the strip material, a rollway contact temperature drop of the next part of the strip material and a water-cooling temperature drop of the next part of the strip material when the Delta T is larger than a first threshold value, and regulating the flow quantity of sprayed water of the water-spraying temperature-regulating header pipes based on the calculated quantity of the sprayed water. According to the method provided by the invention, the temperature difference between the head and the tail of the strip materialduring rolling can be effectively controlled, and the rolling quality can be improved.
