Abstract

The invention provides a method for positioning a mobile device. The method is implemented by multiple base stations and at least one virtual base station. The method comprises the following steps of: 1, obtaining a first formula according to position distributions of the base stations; 2, allocating the virtual base station and obtaining a second formula according to a virtual stopping distance of the virtual base station relative to the mobile device; and obtaining a position of the mobile device through calculating by utilizing the first formula and the second formula. By implementing the method for positioning the mobile device, disclosed by the invention, the mobile device can be positioned in time on the basis of having conventional functions so as to realize special requirements.
