A method and system for enhancing health awareness in a vehicle is provided. One or more embodiments may include methods and systems for providing health information in a vehicle. The geographic location information of the vehicle may be received at the vehicle computer. Additionally, health information for one or more vehicle occupants may be received at the vehicle computer. One or more dining establishments may be identified based on the geographic location information of the vehicle. Menu item information of the catering establishment may be received, the menu item information including nutritional information of the menu item. Thus, dietary recommendations may be presented at the vehicle computer based on the health information of the vehicle occupant, the menu item information, and the nutritional information of the menu item.
