Abstract

To disconnect an electrical machine (42) that is connected by the running gear wheels (44) of a vehicle by means of dogs (51, 52), the method includes two steps that are consecutively actuated on the basis of a disconnection request: a first step of controlling the electrical machine (42) by means of torque, wherein a torque guideline, equal to a calibrated target torque threshold (d), is applied to the electrical machine (42) so as to obtain a zero torque that is exerted between the dogs (51, 52); and a second step of controlling the electrical machine (42) by means of torque, wherein a torque guideline, following a slope starting with said calibrated target torque threshold (d) and ending with a zero value, is applied to the electrical machine (42).
