Abstract

The invention relates to the technical field of a cooling tower and discloses a hydroelectric power balancing driving system of a cooling tower fan. By the aid of the system, the output rotation speed of a hydraulic turbine can be regulated automatically. The system comprises the hydraulic turbine, a variable frequency motor, a rotation speed sensor and a controller, wherein an output shaft of the hydraulic turbine is in transmission connection with a rotating shaft of the fan; an output shaft of the variable frequency motor is in transmission connection with the output shaft of the hydraulic turbine or the rotating shaft of the fan; the rotation speed sensor is arranged on the output shaft of the hydraulic turbine and is used for detecting the rotation speed of the output shaft of the hydraulic turbine; and the controller controls the operation of the variable frequency motor and regulates the output rotation speed of the hydraulic turbine in accordance with the output shaft rotation speed which is detected by the rotation speed sensor. The invention also discloses a control method of the hydroelectric power balancing driving system of the cooling tower fan. The variable frequency motor is used for performing energy compensation for the output shaft of the hydraulic turbine, so that the rotation speed of the output shaft of the hydraulic turbine can meet the requirement of the designed fan rotation speed under the condition of cooling tower temperature lowering. The electricity is saved, the rotation speed of the fan can meet designed requirements, and the fan can operate safely.
