Abstract

The present application discloses a bone fixation system that can be configured to move at least one of a first bone segment and a second bone segment relative to the other. The system may include a first lever and a second lever pivotally connected to the first lever. The first rod may include a first handle, a first jaw extending from the first handle, and a hole extending through the first jaw. The hole may be configured to receive a fixation element, thereby securely connecting the first rod to the bone plate. The second rod may include a second handle, a second jaw extending from the second handle, and a hole extending through the second jaw. The hole may be configured to receive a temporary fixation element for operatively connecting the second rod with the second bone segment.
