Abstract

The invention belongs to the technical field of food packaging industry and relates to a device and method for metering passing quantity of bottle caps on a production line. The device comprises a star wheel metering mechanism, a blowing device, three sensors and a master controller, wherein the radius of each gear tooth of star wheels of the star wheel metering mechanism is slightly larger than that of the bottle caps, the depth of the gear tooth is slightly smaller than the radius of the bottle caps, and the gear tooth is used for carrying the bottle caps along movement of a conveying line of the bottle caps. The blowing device is fixed on the upstream of the star wheel metering mechanism to be used for blowing along a movement direction of the conveying line of the bottle caps. The master controller measures passing quantity of the bottle caps according to calculation of rotated wheel teeth quantity of the star wheel, adjusts rotational speed and blowing pressure of the star wheel according to sensing signals input by the three sensors, coordinates passing speed of the bottle caps and corrects passing quantity of the bottle caps. The device and the method achieve metering and counting correction of passing quantity of the bottle caps on the high-speed production line. The device and method has the advantages of being accuracy in metering, simple in structure and easy to apply.
