The image identification module is used for identifying a face outline in the preliminary image signal and calculating the size of the face. The comparing module is used for comparing the calculated size of the face with a preset size of the face to generate a focal length adjusting signal. The focal length adjusting module is used for adjusting focal length of the camera lens based on the received the focal length adjusting signal. The image shot by the camera lens is identified by the face in advance and the focal length of the camera lens is adjusted by calculating the size of the face. When the size of the face is bigger, the focal length of the camera lens is shortened.
