The magnetic element includes a insulated substrate (11), a first coil (12), a second coil (13), a conductive layer (14) which connects winding head ends via through holes, a first taking electrode layer (15) which is electrically connected with a winding end of the first coil, and a second taking electrode layer (16) which is electrically connected with a winding end of the second coil. The first coil, the second coil, the conductive layer, the first taking electrode layer, and the second taking electrode layer are form into one body. The taking electrode layers (15, 16) are provided with side parts (15a, 16a) which are formed on the side face of the insulated substrate (11), upper surface parts (15b, 16b), and low surface parts (15c, 16c).
