The lifting device comprises a rotating shaft which is provided with at least some external threads, wherein the rotating shaft is connected with the bottom of the box body through a bearing. A through hole which allows the rotating shaft to pass through is formed in the lifting layer, and internal threads which are matched with the external threads are arranged on the through hole. The lifting layer is used for holding machining tools. When the machining tools need to be placed or taken out, the lifting layer is lifted to the portion close to the top of the box body, workpieces come out from the box body at this time, and the workpieces are convenient to take and place. When the tools need to be stored, the lifting layer is lowered, and therefore the tools are located inside the box body.
