The invention discloses disinfection powder for hospital wastewater disinfection. The disinfection powder consists of the following components by mass percent: 40-70 percent of potassium monopersulfate, 4-14 percent of sodium chloride, 8-20 percent of sulfamic acid, 5-10 percent of sodium dodecyl sulfate, 5-15 percent of sodium hexametaphosphate, 5-15 percent of malic acid, 0-15 percent of citric acid, 0-10 percent of tartaric acid and 0-5 percent of a coating agent. The disinfection powder has the benefits that (1) concentration of active ingredients (effective reactive oxygen) is high, and disinfection can be effectively performed; (2) nascent oxygen and series of free radicals thereof are continuously generated in a water body through a chain reaction, so that bactericidal ability retention time is long in the water body; (3) multiple active ingredients coexist, and an antibacterial spectrum is expanded, so that the disinfection powder is effective to bacteria and spores thereof, fungi and viruses; (4) the factors which influence the microbe killing effect are few; (5) toxic and harmful carcinogenic byproducts are not produced.
