Abstract

Disclosed is a swivel joint used in order to connect a hydraulic pipe supplying a fluid from a hydraulic pump, wherein the hydraulic pump is mounted on an upper swing body that is rotatable with respect to a lower moving body, and supplies the fluid to components such as a driving motor and a steering cylinder each mounted on the lower moving body. The swivel joint for construction machinery according to a first embodiment of the present invention comprises: a hub mounted on either the lower moving body or the upper swing body, and having a port through which a working fluid flows; a shaft mounted on the other of the lower moving body or the upper swing body, coupled so as to rotate with respect to the hub, and defining a working fluid flow passage in an axial direction therein so as to communicate with the port of the hub; and a flat thrust bearing being mounted on a cover integrally fixed to the hub above the shaft, integrally rotating with the hub when the upper swing body swings with respect to the lower moving body, and being in frictional contact with and rotatably supported in an axial direction on the upper surface of the shaft.
