Abstract

The invention provides a numerical controller having the function of manipulating a video camera by using G-code command. The video camera which shoots a machine tool is connected to a numerical controller which controls the machine tool. The numerical controller has a function of manipulating the video camera by using a G-code command that is a preparatory function included as standard in the numerical controller. The numerical controller can give a command to the video camera by one block of a machining program. Additionally, a G-code can be commonly used in all machine tools equipped with same numerical controllers.
