An embodiment of the invention provides a wireless network optimization method and terminal based on virtual switching. The method comprises determining a target cell for the virtual switching of the terminal; configuring parameters of a service cell of the terminal and / or configuring parameters of the target cell so as to enable the terminal to meet a switching condition for switching from the service cell to the target cell; sending a first measurement report to a base station, wherein the first measurement report comprises the parameters of the service cell and the parameters of the target cell; receiving a switching command sent by the base station based on the first measurement report; and performing switching based on the switching command sent by the base station so as to determine network problems based on switching results.
