Abstract

The invention discloses a curing and modifying process for coal coke residue oil, and belongs to the field of coal chemical industry. With the help of the method, liquid coal coke residue oil is cured, thus greatly improving softening point of the coal coke residue oil. The curing and modifying process disclosed by the invention takes waste coke residue oil which is common in a coking plant as a raw material, and comprises the steps of adding 3-38wt% of measured modifying agent to coal coke residue oil of 90-160 DEG C, and mechanically stirring completely under a sealed circumstance or a circumstance of filling nitrogen so that the coal coke residue oil and the modifying agent react for 2-4 hours at 90-160 DEG C to obtain modified coal coke residue oil. The process disclosed by the invention makes full use of waste resource, and is simple to operate and low in cost; softening point of the coal coke residue oil is improved to be above 45 DEG C from about 10 DEG C, which meets requirements provided within Technical Specifications for Construction of Highway Asphalt Pavements (JTGF40-2004), thus pointing out a new way for research on a highway pavement material.
