Abstract

The invention relates to a hot-plugging protection circuit for an LED illuminating apparatus. The hot-plugging protection circuit comprises a current source, a filtering capacitor and an LED light string. The positive electrode of the current source is respectively connected with one end of the filtering capacitor and the anode of the LED light string; and the negative electrode of the current source and the other end of the filtering capacitor are grounded. In addition, the hot-plugging protection circuit also includes a power tube M1, a current detection unit, a state latch and a reset unit. The cathode of the LED light string is simultaneously connected with a drain electrode of the power tube M1; and a source electrode of the power tube M1 is connected with the current detection unit. The drain electrode of the power tube M1 and the source electrode of the power tube M1 form a conduction branch; the conduction branch is connected in series with the current detection unit; the output terminal of the current detection unit is connected with a reset terminal of the state latch; the reset unit is connected with a setting terminal of the state latch; and the output terminal of the state latch is connected with a grid electrode of the power tube M1.
