Abstract

The invention relates to a metallic resistor containing a heat conductive metal foil part with non-load current. A temperature reference circuit for generating temperature compensation reference voltage (VREF) comprises a bandgap reference circuit which is used for generating bandgap reference voltage (VBGR) substantially irrelevant to the temperature and proportionate absolute temperature reference voltage (VPTAT) substantially in proportion to the absolute temperature change. The circuit comprises an operational amplifier which is connected to the bandgap reference circuit and has an output as a VREF base. The circuit further comprises a feedback circuit which is connected to the operational amplifier and the bandgap reference circuit and can enable the VREF to be substantially equal to (VPTAT*constant k1)-(VBGR*constant K2).
