[0069] In order to better understand the technical solutions of the present invention, the implementation manners of the present invention will be further described below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings. Flow chart of the present invention is as figure 1 As shown, the present invention is an image fusion method utilizing a morphological center operator, and the specific implementation steps of the method are as follows:

[0070] Step 1: The morphological center operator and anti-center operator are used to extract the bright and dark features of the visible light image of the infrared image

[0071] Mathematical morphology is an important image processing tool (References: Serra et al., Image Analysis and Mathematical Morphology, Academic Press, New York, 1982. (J. Serra, Image analysis and mathematical morphology, Academic Press, New York ,1982.)). The basic theory of mathematical morphology operations is set theory, and the two basic sets used in mathematical...

Abstract

An image fusion method using a morphology center operator comprises three steps that firstly, based on the morphological opening-and-closing operation, two alternative filters are generated, the two filters are used for generating the morphology center operator and an anticeter operator, and the bright features and dark features in infrared images and visible images are extracted through the morphology center operator and the anticenter operator; secondly, a multi-scale morphology theory, the morphology center operator and the anticenter operator are combined, the bright features and the dark features of the images are extracted in multi-scale space, and accordingly effective fusion features are generated; thirdly, on the basis of basic images generated by the morphology center operator and the anticenter operator, the extracted multi-scale fusion feature is used for establishing a fusion image. The image fusion method using the morphology center operator is applied to various application systems based on images, and has a wide application prospect.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to an image fusion method using a morphological central operator, belonging to the field of digital image processing, and mainly relates to mathematical morphology and image fusion technology. It has broad application prospects in various image-based application systems. Background technique [0002] Infrared images contain many important image regions that cannot be captured by visible light sensors. Also, visible light images contain a lot of detail that cannot be captured by infrared sensors. In order to obtain an image that contains not only important image regions but also a lot of details, infrared and visible light image fusion is an effective solution. Image fusion is an important direction in the field of signal processing, and it has a wide range of applications, such as target recognition, segmentation, etc. Principal component analysis and independent component analysis have been widely used as tools for extracting ...
