Abstract

The invention provides a joint detection method and system. The segmentation of equivalent channel estimations is performed, thereby obtaining a plurality of segmented channel estimations; a segmented channel estimation with maximal energy is selected from the plurality of segmented channel estimations; according to an actual channel estimation of a current cell code channel and the segmented channel estimation with the maximal energy of neighbor cell code channels, channel response is calculated and combined, and joint detection is performed, i.e., channel estimations of neighbor cells used for joint detection are estimations of a channel including a maximum amount of information, thereby preventing the problem in the prior art that the estimations of the channel including the maximum amount of information cannot be obtained due to forced cut-off of effective taps of neighbor cell channel estimations, causing poor performance of joint detection. Thus, through the joint detection method and system provided by the invention, performance of joint detection is improved.
