The determination method for blood absorption amount is used for determining blood absorption amount of the absorbent article with an absorption body and a surface sheet material. The determination method for blood absorption amount comprises: determining a target object, specifically utilizing a clamping member to clamp the absorbent article without clamping the absorption body; putting a determination solution into a container, and submerging the determination target object into the determination solution by enabling the surface sheet material to face upwards; immersing the determination target object in the determination solution for a preset time, and taking out the determination target object; and suspending the determination target object for a preset time by utilizing the above clamping member.
