Abstract

An object of embodiments of the present invention is to provide a protection control system, a protection control device, and a merging unit in which the amount of hardware in a protection control system using a process bus is suppressed. The protection control system in the embodiment of the present invention includes: a merging unit that outputs power information; a plurality of first protection control devices that outputs main trip information based on the power information and predetermined relay characteristics; and a second protection control device and outputting FD trip information based on the electrical quantity information and a plurality of relay characteristics predetermined as the accident detection relays of the first protection control devices.
