Abstract

A tellurium counter electrode is a conductive glass substrate with telluride. The telluride is one of cobalt telluride and nickel telluride or a mixture of the cobalt telluride and the nickel telluride. A manufacturing method of the tellurium counter electrode includes manufacturing a reaction raw material of the tellurium counter electrode; conducting low temperature reaction, arranging a reaction mixture into a reaction kettle, sealing the kettle and arranging the kettle into a drying box with preset temperature for reaction; conducting cooling washing; conducting high temperature sintering, arranging a dried solid object into a tubular furnace and conducting sintering under the nitrogen atmosphere; manufacturing the tellurium counter electrode. A solar battery adopts the tellurium counter electrode, and greatly improves the photoelectric conversion efficiency. The tellurium counter electrode is low in cost and meets the industrial production requirement.
