The excavator positive flow control method includes the steps that the maximum discharge capacity of a pump is calculated out by collecting pilot pressures and main pressures and carrying out corresponding data processing, wherein the maximum pump discharge of the pump is determined through the pilot pressures and the main pressures; data processing is carried out on the discharge capacity determined by the pilot pressures and the discharge capacity determined by the main pressures, and a better value between the two discharge capacities is selected out; meanwhile, given power of the pump and feedback power of the pump are obtained through real-time data collecting and processing, flow is controlled in real time through a power PID, and the optimal discharge capacity of the pump is obtained by carrying out corresponding operation on the maximum discharge capacity determined by the pilot pressures and the main pressures and the discharge capacity determined by the power PID; finally, corresponding output serves as a driver of an electromagnetic proportional valve to adjust a discharge capacity servo structure of the pump in real time. By means of the excavator positive flow control method, reasonable matching can be carried out between an engine and the pump, between the pump and loads and on expectation of people for the speed of a working device in real time, the optimal discharge capacity of the pump under the real-time working condition is determined, and efficiency and performance of a whole system are greatly improved.
