Abstract

The tensile strength of the composite material is higher than 304 Mpa. The preparation method comprises the steps of (1) weighing pure tantalum powder and pure silver powder with a molar ratio of 1:1 and mixing the two kinds of powder, (2) stirring the mixed powder in a ball mill and ensuring that the powder is evenly mixed, (3) conducting film pressing on the evenly mixed powder to form a block, and (4) sintering the blank at a temperature slightly lower than the melting temperature of silver to obtain the tantalum-silver blocky composite material with the tensile strength higher than 304 Mpa finally. The production technology is simple, and effective production can be achieved easily.
