Embodiment Construction

[0037] see figure 1 , the rotor system has four rotor blades 2, 3, and these rotor blades are arranged in pairs facing each other with the rotor hub 1 as the center. Each of the rotor blades 2, 3 is mounted on the rotor hub 1 by means of the first yoke 4, the second yoke 5 and the corresponding blade holder 6, and an angle of 90° is formed between adjacent blades 2, 3 . Two opposing first rotor blades 2 form a first pair of rotor blades, while two opposing second rotor blades 3 form a second pair of rotor blades. The two opposing first rotor blades 2 of the first pair of rotor blades extend radially from the rotor hub 1 along the first axis 22, while the two opposing second rotor blades 3 of the second pair of rotor blades Extends radially from the rotor hub 1 along a second axis 23 substantially perpendicular to said first axis 22 .

[0038] The respective two rotor blades 2 , 3 of each pair of rotor blades are connected to each other by one of the two yokes 4 , 5 in a man...

Abstract

A rotor system of a rotary wing aircraft, e.g. a helicopter with a rotor mast, a rotor hub (1), at least four, angularly essentially even distributed rotor blades (2, 3) and swash plate struts (15) for pitch and subsequently flap control. Said rotor blades are respectively pairwise mounted lag- and flap-stiff to each other with zero offset to said rotor hub. The rotor hub is provided with a hollow bearing (20) with at least one further bearing inside (21), a first pair of said rotor blades is mounted on the hollow bearing pivotable in a first flap direction (23) essentially perpendicular to said rotation axis, and at least a second pair of said rotor blades is mounted inside the hollow bearing on the at least one further bearing pivotable in a second flap direction (22) substantially perpendicular to said first flap direction and said rotation axis, and independently of said first pair of connected rotor blades. The rotor system is of low complexity structure, high cost efficiency and high reliability.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a rotor system of an aircraft, in particular to a rotor aircraft or a rotor drone with a weight less than 1.5 tons. Background technique [0002] Rotor systems for helicopters, especially those with high performance and low noise characteristics, are extremely expensive due to their development, manufacture and certification. Especially considering the dynamic behavior of the helicopter and rotor system, which implies a high potential risk. Rotor systems are particularly expensive to manufacture and certify when composite structures and dampers are applied in the rotor head. [0003] Documents US4131391A (Robinson) and US3347320A (Cresap) disclose two-blade rotors that connect two rotor blades that are rigid to each other with respect to flapping and shimmy to the rotor hub through a yoke, wherein the yoke The frame is rockable about an axis which is perpendicular to the main axis of the rotor and also perpendicular to the tw...
