Internal combustion engine 10 may include a plurality of combustion cylinders enclosed within a crankcase. Each combustion cylinder may be fluidly coupled with intake manifold 12 and exhaust manifold 13 . While only a single intake and exhaust manifold are shown, it should be understood that multiple intake or exhaust manifolds 12, 13 may be used, with each intake or exhaust manifold 12, 13 coupled to at most combustion cylinder. A fuel such as diesel or a fuel gas mixture is passed into each combustion cylinder and combusted in a known manner within the combustion cylinder. Engine 10 may further include a turbocharger 14 .
