Abstract

More and more attention is paid to heterogeneous networks serving as an on-chip network structure which is relatively flexible. According to present heterogeneous on-chip networks, two fixed on-chip networks are set for achieving optimal configuration of two applications respectively, the network to which the applications are going to get access is determined before the applications get access, and the determination can not be changed once being made; the defects that the networks are optimized by referring to the characteristic of the specific applications, expansibility is poor, and optimization depends too much on the accuracy of parameters for judging the application attribute exist; moreover, as the multithreading application and the large-data application are popularized constantly, due to the diversity of the applications, the division thought of the two networks is limited. For the diversity characteristic of application programs, a Buffered router and a Bufferless router are set and communicated with each other, and switching of the operating networks is achieved according to flow in the application operating process, so that the overall energy consumption of the system is reduced.
