Abstract

The invention discloses a method and a mobile terminal for making and receiving calls. By adopting the method and the mobile phone, a mobile phone user is enabled to communicate with other mobile phone users when unable to make voices conveniently. In some embodiments of the invention, the method comprises the steps that a conversation connection is established between a first mobile terminal and a second mobile terminal; the first mobile terminal obtains word information, wherein the word information is the word information input by the user or the word information preset in the first mobile terminal; and the first mobile terminal converts the word information into voice information and sends the voice information to the second terminal.
