Abstract

A system and method are provided for displaying publishing units in a streaming interface. A streaming interface is provided for display and includes at least one publishing unit. At least one publishing unit is provided with publishing content and a first set of interfaces for display on a first side of the publishing unit. The first interface set includes one or more interface components for interacting with published content, and an extension interface component for extending the first interface set. An indication of user selection of an expansion interface component is received. At least one publishing unit is provided with publishing content and a second set of interfaces for display on a second side of the publishing unit in response to receiving the indication. The second set of interfaces includes a greater number or different kinds of interface components for interacting with the published content.
