Abstract

The data transmission method includes the following steps that: when a node transmits data to a gateway by adopting a first periodic bandwidth, whether data volume to be transmitted is larger than a preset first threshold value or smaller than a preset second threshold value is judged, wherein the first periodic bandwidth is determined by the gateway according to a periodic bandwidth request transmitted by the node; if the data volume to be transmitted is larger than the preset first threshold value or smaller than the preset second threshold value, the node transmits an adjustable bandwidth request to the gateway; the gateway generates an adjustment bandwidth according to the adjustable bandwidth request; the gateway obtains a second periodic bandwidth according to the generated adjustment bandwidth and the first periodic bandwidth; the gateway transmits a first massage to the node, wherein the first massage carries the information of the second periodic bandwidth; and the node transmits the data to the gateway by adopting the second periodic bandwidth.
