Abstract

The invention discloses an IOV (Internet of Vehicles) communication protocol design method. An information communication protocol between a vehicle terminal and a cloud terminal comprises data length, vehicle-mounted product ID, data and CRC (Cyclic Redundancy Check), wherein the data is classified into six types; a vehicle information cycle packet, a diagnosis event packet and a buffer retention packet belong to a transmission type; a vehicle information cycle acknowledgement packet, a diagnosis event request packet and a buffer retention acknowledgement packet belong to a receiving type; a data frame structure consists of solid data and dynamic data; the solid data comprises ID definitions of the six types of functional packets, time, vehicle sleep states, delayed information states, delayed meters and vehicle information update mark bits; packets which are not transmitted successfully serve as buffer detention packets. The vehicle information update mark bits are used for determining whether comparison data of the current time and previous time in vehicle information is updated or not and marking the updated data; dynamic data is vehicle information with update changes. By virtue of adopting a method of designing a solid data format and a dynamic data format and setting data mark bits, complete data can be obtained with minimal data expenses, and the IOV data transmission cost is greatly lowered.
